Our Real Borrowed Bride Erin knew exactly what she wanted when it came to her wedding. And she knew she didn’t want to spend a TON on her bridal accessories. When it came to her wedding day, she fell in love with the Lauren Hairpins & she even added the Julianne Veil after her dress fitting. See all the details of her gorgeous wedding below!
Couple: Erin & Eric Elberg
Wedding Date: October 19th, 2019
Location: Tarrytown House, Tarrytown, NY
Why did you decide to rent your bridal accessories & how was your experience?
When it came to my hairpin and veil, I knew they would be one-time use items and the cost to purchase were CRAZY. Once I heard I could rent these items from Happily Ever Borrowed I thought it was genius! I used Send Before you Spend for my hairpin and Brittany sent me tulle swatches to match my veil during one of my dress fittings.
I never considered looking elsewhere because the options from Happily Ever Borrowed were exactly what I was looking for!
What was your favorite part of the day? Special moment?
I’ll never forget walking out the double glass doors of the onsite hotel to the sun shining down on the venue property. It was the absolutely perfect Fall day I’ve dreamed of my entire life for my wedding.
A second special moment was my first look with my father. I didn’t prepare myself for the emotions I would feel as he walked into the room and looked at me with pure joy and love. We both turned to complete mush.
A third moment was our first dance – we choreographed “A Million Dreams” by Pink. We practiced that dance for hours leading up to the wedding and killed it! It set the tone for the rest of the evening, no one ever left the dance floor.
